Jo Jo
Hello, beautiful humans! ✨ My name is JoJo, and I’ve been teaching yoga since 2020. I completed my yoga teacher training in beautiful Bend, Oregon, and it was such an amazing and transformative experience!
Teaching yoga is truly my passion, and I feel so grateful to share this practice with my community. My goal is to create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space where everyone feels comfortable showing up exactly as they are. I’m trained in trauma-informed yoga and believe yoga is about so much more than the physical poses — it’s an opportunity to reconnect with yourself, find balance, and nurture your mind, body and soul.
I teach Hatha and Vinyasa, with a little Yin sprinkled in along the way. Whether you’re looking to build strength, slow down, or simply carve out some time for yourself, I hope you leave my classes feeling a little more grounded, connected, and at home in your body.
When I’m not on the mat, you can usually find me outside, diving into some sort of craft/project, or soaking up every moment with my two little ones (ages 1.5 and 3). I’m so excited to practice with you!

Instructor
InstructorErin
Erin Applegate brings a unique blend of movement, creativity, and personalized instruction to her work as a classically trained Pilates instructor. With a Bachelor of Science in Social Science and a minor in Dance from Boise State University, Erin draws on her dance background to bring a thoughtful, movement-centered approach to teaching Pilates.
Originally from the Liberty Lake area, Erin spent a decade living in Boise, Idaho, before a work-related injury brought her back to the Inland Northwest. This unexpected life change led her to discover a new calling in movement, wellness, and helping others reconnect with their bodies. She completed her Yoga Teacher Training at The Mat in December and continued deepening her knowledge of classical Pilates through Lolita San Miguel’s Lolita’s Legacy teacher training program.
Erin teaches classical Mat Pilates, honoring the traditional Pilates method while recognizing the individual needs and abilities of each student. She specializes in alignment and body mechanics, helping students recognize movement patterns, address muscular imbalances, and improve postural awareness through intentional, individualized instruction. Her dance background informs her attention to detail, coordination, and fluidity, while her additional experience with super-slow weight training brings a valuable perspective on strength, control, and precision.
Erin believes Pilates is about more than exercise; it is an opportunity to develop a deeper connection with the body, build strength, improve mobility, and move with greater confidence. Her teaching emphasizes thoughtful movement, an understanding of how the body works, and a compassionate approach that encourages students to develop better alignment and more efficient movement patterns.
Outside the studio, Erin enjoys reading the Outlander book series, spending time with her dog and five cats, and exploring her creative side through crafting and her Etsy shop, Erin May Co.
Through classical Pilates, Erin hopes to help others discover the joy of movement and build a stronger, more balanced foundation for everyday life.
